Today Bose announced the launch of a new updated version of their SoundLink Color wireless Bluetooth speaker with the unveiling of the new Color II model.

This new model changes things up slightly with the addition of a more rugged and IPX4 water-resistant body as well as some new colour options for the speaker.

Those new colour options include Aquatic Blue, Coral Red, Soft Black and Polar White. Check them out below.

It still keeps the same dual-opposing passive radiator as in the last version, which is said to provide better bass from “every inch of their small enclosure”.

The speaker will also feature an integrated microphone so that it can make and receive calls, along with access to assistants such as Siri and Google Now.

Bose say that the battery will last up to eight hours from a single charge and it will all be topped off with a connection to the Bose Connect app for creating a multiroom setup with other Bose speakers.

The Bose SoundLink Color II wireless speaker will be available from May for £129.95.
