Today Bose announced the release of some new home cinema products, all of which have been designed to work with WiFi connectivity and alongside the leader of the bunch, the new Bose SoundTouch 300 soundbar.
That soundbar is less than a metre long and is just 57mm high, however, Bose has still crammed a lot of tech inside of it.
Inside you will find Bose’s PhaseGuide system that sends the left and right channels in such a way that it sounds like they are coming from dedicated sources, it also uses Bose’s QuietPort technology for a deeper bass.
But the biggest change is the addition of wireless support, which allows you to stream audio from any compatible source either via WiFi or Bluetooth.
It can also connect to other Bose devices wirelessly and features a 4K passthrough port.
On top of this, Bose also announced the Lifestyle 650, which is a 5.1 speaker setup and is the “smallest satellite speakers in Bose history.” There’s also a 600 model which is similar but with slightly larger satellites
The SoundTouch 300 will be priced at £599.95, the Lifestyle 650 will be priced at £3.399 and the 600 will be priced at £2,599
You can also buy separate surround speakers for the soundbar for from £249.95, or an optional bass module for £599.95.
