Bowers & Wilkins has today announced that they will be updating a couple of their headphone models.

The first of which is the new P5 Series 2, which has new drivers that have been adapted from the P7 headphones, which should provide better sound quality in a more portable design.

The company has also stated the the drivers have been modeled after the components of its home theater speakers.

The P5 Series 2 will also also consists of more premium components, and the headphones have been made from ribbons of aluminum, soft leather and soft padding with improved memory foam cushions.

There’s also a new low impedance connection cable with better strain relief and a redesigned inline iOS remote and mic piece. The headphones will also ship with an included carrying case.

The P5 Series 2 will be available later this month for £249.

B&W has also improved on its C5 in-ear headphones, adding a new 9.2mm dynamic driver that has been optimised for powerful bass performance, whilst still keeping a natural and more accurate sound signature.

The headphones will also offer an improved mic and inline remote.

The headphones also have an all-black finish.

The C5 S2 will be available in September 2014 for £150.
