BT has announced yet another broadcasting deal for sporting events in the UK, leading on from their buyout of ESPN’s British and Irish channels back in February, the broadcaster has today announced that they now have an exclusive arrangement to air NBA games in both the UK and Ireland.

The new deal with NBA will allow BT to stream and broadcast up to seven live games per week on BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2 and on their ESPN channels, alongside allowing them to stream the programme through the BT Sport website and its mobile apps.

We’re not to sure if there’s a huge market for Basketball in the UK, but it is certainly interesting to see the broadcaster expand their channels in this way.
