Called the Buffalo LinkStation 520DN, it will be available with either 2, 4, or 8TB storage options via 2 NAS-hard drives that have been designed for always-on operation, allowing you to stream media that you have stored on it from any computer, smartphone, or tablet.

It can also stream content to smart TVs and stereo systems, and it can do all of this to multiple devices simultaneously while providing you with the added benefit of PC and Mac backups.

It has all be designed to work out the box with a RAID1 setup, working with Buffalo’s WebAccess service to provide easy remote access and control.

At the moment, we only know about US availability and pricing, which has been set at $280 for the 2TB, $350 for the 4TB, and $450 for the 8TB version. We will update you when we hear more.
