After many teaser trailers, Activision and Treyarch have finally released their first gameplay trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 game

Granting a first look at the multiplayer, campaign and even a sneak peek at zombies, the new trailer shows us our first look at what Black Ops III will be like, and we can confirm that it will be different.

The biggest change is in the multiplayer, where you will no longer take the role as a regular soldier, but instead as a specialist who will have their own unique weapon and power.

The campaign will also be different, allowing players to fully customise the campaign’s protagonist to their liking for the first time in the franchise’s history. This means players will be able to change their character’s appearance, tweak their weapon set and pick the gender of their hero.

“This Call of Duty campaign is all about choice. Your investment in your character is going to mean something more than it ever has before in any Call of Duty game,” Studio Head Mark Lamia says.

“It’s not just a female head on a male body. It’s a different set of animations for the entire game,” Lamia continued.

“We knew we were going to do fully unique male, fully unique female for all scenes and all the customization that goes for both. Thank God for Blu-ray, right?” Campaign Director and Senior Executive Producer, Jason Blundell added.

Treyarch has also upgraded Zombies, which they say will include a dedicated progression system and will be more accessible to players that found previous iterations too difficult.

This comes alongside the addition of new movement techniques including a thrust-assisted jump that allows players to boost in any direction whilst gaining altitude, power sliding and even wall running.

There’s also the ability to swim underwater.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be released on November 6 for the PC, Xbox One and PS4. You can also pre-order the game now to get really access to the beta.

In the meantime you can check out the full trailer above, or head on over to the source link below to find out more information about pre-ordering and the game itself.
