After what has been months of waiting and teasing, Microsoft and Activision have finally released a backwards compatible version of Black Ops II for the Xbox One today, bringing one of the greatest FPS games to the console finally.

A lot of people enjoyed Black Ops II and it certainly helped to build the eSports scene that surrounds CoD today and brings it so much popularity.

As of today, you will be able to download and install the game on the Xbox One.

If you previously downloaded it on the Xbox 360 then you will be able to download it on the Xbox One today by heading over to the ‘My Games and Apps’ section and then looking for the game under ‘Available to download’.

You can also pop the original Xbox 360 disc into your Xbox One if you prefer that.

Or if you have neither then you can purchase it via the Xbox Store on your Xbox One.

In case you need a recap, here’s one of the original trailers for Black Ops II:
