Call of Duty Elite is a great service that up to now has been a paid service that allows users to enhance the whole Call of Duty experience, but with Black Ops 2 the service will now be free, but with maps sold separately.

However there will still be a season pass for the game that will grant you a download for four of the Black Ops 2 DLC packs, which will be launched on the Xbox Live network first, and will cost 4000 MSP or 1200 MSP per map pack.

This season pass covers four Black Ops 2 DLC map packs that will be “coming to the Xbox Live network first”, Activision said, however Activision noted that the “Season Pass and DLC Map Packs may not be available on all gaming platforms,” and that “Pricing and release dates may vary by platform.”

Check out the trailer for the free platform below, and make sure to pick up the game on November 13th, or on the Wii U on November 30th in Europe (possibly) or November 18th in the US (apparently)
