Although its something that probably doesn’t need to be said, Vodafone has just announced that they will be stocking the iPhone in the UK, announcing details in a recent e-mail they didn’t tell us if it would be specific to the iPhone 5C or the 5S, but you can presume they will be stocking both.

The iPhone will of course be available on their Red 4G plan, which is already available in London and will be expanding to Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham and Sheffield on 28 September, and then Bradford, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle by the end of the year, by 2015 they aim to cover 98% of the population.

No pricing or availability has been announced yet however.

[Update] Apple has revealed that the 16GB model of the iPhone 5S will be available from £549 SIM-free, the 32GB will be £629 SIM free and the 64GB 5S will be £709 SIM-free from the Apple Store, both online and in-store.
