Quite some time ago Bethesda announced a remastered version of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. And now this Special Edition is available to pre-order on the Xbox One and on the PlayStation 4.

In Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb’s blog post about the availability, he also revealed that you can also pre-load the game before its release, which some may enjoy since it’s probably going to be a big download (at the moment, it’s only listed at 106.15MB though).

You will then be able to play the remastered version of Skyrim at 12:01AM ET on October 28th. It will come with the base game and all of the DLC that has been released to date in a remastered version.

The Skyrim Special Edition will also be available for free on PC if you own Skyrim and all of the DLC already.

And it will also support PC mods.

Check out the trailer below for a quick look.
