Today GoPro released a new update for their Hero5 Black and Hero5 Sessions action cameras, allowing the ability to record 4K video at 24p and at a SuperView angle, building upon the previously limitation of 4K video at 30p and a wide field-of-view.
With the update, you will also be able to select all field-of-view options when recording at 1080/48p.
On top of that, the Hero5 Black will be able to extract photos from multi-shot burst and tweak shutter settings in ProTune with the update, and both cameras now have support for Korean, Russian, and Portuguese.
But that’s not all, GoPro also unveiled a couple of new accessories.
The first of which is the Karma Grip Extension Cable, which is a coiled extension cable that allows you to better separate the GoPro’s three-axis gimbal from the Karma Grip.
It extends up to 35-inches and makes it easier to attach the camera to a piece of gear when attached to such a grip.
Next up is the new GoPro El Grande, which is a selfie stick that can collapse down to 15-inches and extend up to 38-inches.
Both of these will be available worldwide on April 9th. The Karma Grip Extender will be priced at $99 and the El Grande will be priced at $59 in the US.
