Last month we wrote an article about upcoming support for the Oculus Rift headset that will allow you to stream Xbox One games to the virtual reality headset.

As promised, Microsoft released that support today.

Microsoft’s Major Nelson revealed the news, and he announced that Microsoft had released an Xbox streaming app on the Oculus Store today.

With the app, you can stream Xbox One games from a Windows 10 PC to an Oculus Rift VR headset, all for free.

The app has been designed to look like the Xbox streaming app on Windows 10, allowing you to select the console on your network that you want to stream from before a game had been launched, as well as the ability to open the Xbox One guide and control the orientation of games right from the headset.

You can download the Xbox streaming app from the Oculus Store now.

Before then, you can check out the video below for a quick look.
