Last week BlackBerry announced the launch of their latest smartphone in UAE, the BlackBerry Motion.

We didn’t know much about the release date details for the UK back then, however, today BlackBerry Mobile updated us with the launch details for UK retailers, revealing that the handset will be available here for £399.

Carphone Warehouse also revealed that they will be taking pre-orders for the smartphone in the UK today.

In case you don’t remember, the BlackBerry Motion features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, and a 5.5-inch  Full HD display with a 1,920 x 1,080-pixel resolution.

It also features a 4,000mAh battery with Android 7.1 Nougat, an 8-megapixel camera on the front and a 12-megapixel camera on the front.

Global General Manager for BlackBerry Mobile said the following about the launch:

The launch of BlackBerry Motion allows us to further diversify our product offering, delivering new experiences while remaining steadfast with the privacy, reliability and productivity that have made BlackBerry so iconic over the years, while the initial launch of our newest BlackBerry smartphone will be limited, this is an exciting addition to our growing BlackBerry smartphone portfolio, setting a strong foundation for further portfolio and market growth in the years to come.”
