The Samsung Galaxy S5 has only been available to pre-order for a few days, but already pre-registrations for the device have topped that which the Samsung Galaxy S4 received, with Carphone Warehouse stating that the device has already received 120 percent more pre-registrations than what the Galaxy S4 received in its 10-day pre-registration period, and could even become a  “record breaking handset before it even reaches stores.”

The device was first revealed at MWC 2014 earlier this week, and comes with a 5.1 inch display that has a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, with an Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

There’s also a 16 megapixel camera on the back, fingerprint scanner on the home button, and a heart rate sensor under the camera, alongside a 2,800 mAh battery inside, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat pre-installed with the TouchWiz UI.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available to buy from retail stores started from April 11th.
