One of our highlight announcements from Mobile World Congress (MWC) this month had to be the Nokia 3310.

The reincarnation of the device is one that we have been thinking about for some time now, given the popularity of the original device and the need for a smartphone that you can last you all day.

It features a 2.4-inch curved display with 16GB of inbuilt storage and a microSD card slot that will allow you to expand that storage by a further 32GB, and it also comes with a 900 mAh battery inside.

On top of all of that, it also features an FM radio, along with a new version of the classic Snake game, but with a more modern and slightly disappointing redesign.

Despite those features being somewhat low-end, Carphone Warehouse has today stated that they have had an “unprecedented level of demand for a feature phone” in the following statement from Andrew Wilson, the UK director of buying at Carphone Warehouse:

“There has been an astonishing groundswell of interest in the Nokia 3310 following the launch announcement of this reimagined classic.”

“Levels of pre-registrations at Carphone Warehouse are incredibly strong, proving that it’s not all hype and that consumers really want to get their hands on one.”

This comes after the store has been offering pre-registrations for the device for just under a week now, which you can do for yourself at the source link below.
