If you are still attached to your normal watch, but you are tempted by the features of a smartwatch then you might be interested in a Kickstarter project named Chronos.

The Chronos is a new puck-like device that will attach to the back of your old watch, and allow you to access some of the smart features that you will find on a smartwatch.

It connects to an iOS application over Bluetooth, with activity tracking functions with an accelerometer, an LED light and a vibrate alert for email and message notifications.

It also allows you to control your music playback, with a number of gesture controls for other features.

Chronos is also water resistant to an IP67 rating, meaning that it can withstand splashes of water, and it comes with a USB charging base to top up the battery, which is said to last up to two days. It connects yo your watch with a suction adhesive pad.

The Chronos has already been successful on Kickstarter and is now available for the public to order, with shipping set for November.

It is priced at $99.99.
