A new smart home automation system has today been launched on Kickstarter, designed to help users control various appliances, devices and lights around the home from a simple smartphone application, Cielo WiGie is looking for your help to launch a new smart home automation product that is both easy to use and easy to set up.

The system works by using various different devices to control other devices around your home, these include WiGle, WiCam, WiSe and WiLi.

WiGle is the first of these and has been designed to enable users to control anything that uses an IR signal from the app, all the user has to do is place the WiGle on or near a device like a TV or a home audio system and they are good to go. From launch this device will support various systems including ones manufactured by Samsung, Haier, LG and more.

WiLi is the second and that allows the user to convert any existing light into a smart one, simply place WiLi in-between the light and its connector and it is ready to be controlled via the app.

WiCam will then allow the user to set up a remote monitoring system in the home, all they have to do is connect it to their WiFi connection and then they are good to keep track of the cats whilst they are away.

WiSe is the last on the list, and probably the most interesting out of all of them, this is because it allows the user to detect noticeable changes in their home environment such as humidity, temperature, light and motion without the use of a hub wires.

Both WiGie and WiSe will also support Apple’s new iBeacon technology to wirelessly notify your iPhone of any important messages, and for those without an iPhone it also supports Bluetooth to do the same.
