Coca-cola recently posted a video to their YouTube page, showing how they could make a virtual-reality headset from the company’s packaging, it provides an interesting look at how packaging could be recycled for new uses in the future.

However, the video is simply an experiment from Coca-cola at the moment, although both 9toMac are reporting that the company might actually make the plan a reality in the new future, planning to allow customers to convert a 12-pack box into a VR viewer for use with an iPhone or other smartphones, similar to Google’s Cardboard.

This news comes after Google announced that they had sold over 5 million Cardboard units last month, with over 1,000 Cardboard compatible apps on the Google Play Store.
