Today a new project was launched by a team based in San Francisco, California on the Indiegogo crowdfunding site.

Called Cod3fi, the project has been launched to develop a new smart home router that is designed to secure your home’s network while providing you with better router compatibility.

They have designed it to provide a mesh router network, with a number of satellites that connect to each other to expand your wireless network around your home.

Each of these come equipped with enterprise-grade security according to the developers, along with a 1.2GHz Quad-core processor and 64GB of RAM.

They explained more about it with the following:

Cod3fi is a next-gen wireless router mesh with an enterprise grade security protection. No cloud subscription is required as we provide you with a private cloud on your router! Each router comes with 64GB of memory that runs on 1.2 GHz Quad core processor. Cod3fi’s mobile app allows you to monitor bandwidth consumption, run diagnostic tests, create a separate guest network, prioritize devices, play/pause Internet on any device and many more.

Are Internet hackers giving you sleepless nights?  Are you worried about your baby monitors getting hacked? Do you frequently download security apps and pay huge monthly cloud subscription fees just to protect your home gadgets?
Look no further, Cod3fi (pronounced codify) might just have a solution for you!
