Sony announced that they would be closing Evolution Studios last week, however, that isn’t the end of the story as it has today been announced that the developer will be acquired by Codemasters.

The rights to Driveclub and Motorstorm games will remain with Sony, however, we can expect that Evolution Studios will have a few other games to unveil thanks to this news.

It has been confirmed that Rustchynsky will be remaining at the studio as it changes owners, after working for the developer for nearly 12 years. Mick Hocking will also take the role of VP Product Development at Codemasters.
