So far we are pretty sure that Apple will launch an iPhone 5 tomorrow, but we weren’t expecting an iPod refresh, which looks to be set in motion as new codenames for the iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Suffle have leaked online.
The information comes from a Twitter user by the name, @chronic who leaked the codenames for the possible devices, the first is the new iPod Touch which comes with the codename N78, the iPod Nano also has a new codename, N31 and the iPod shuffle codenamed N12B, which are both expected ship in 8 colors, the new iPod Touch is also expected to come in several different colors.
Cronic has also mentioned that the new iPod Touch will run a processor named S5L8942X similar to the AppleTV’s single core A5:
oh wait, another thing worth mentioning: the new iPod touch / N78AP runs on an S5L8942X, NOT an S5L8950X.

Cronic also mentioned that the iPhone and iPod Touch will include a new Panorama feature, which was found in the iOS 5 code last year, but for now we don’t know much more than that.
