ALK Technologies have today confirmed that CoPilot will soon be making its return to the Windows Phone 8 platform, launching for all Windows Phone 8 devices this summer.

The application will feature the same experience people have come to expect on other platforms, with turn-by-turn navigation, real-time traffic and local searching from Yelp, Wikipedia and Google, but will also include 3D map views, speed warnings, lane guidance and instructions on how to navigate certain junctions.

The app will be available region by region, the region you do download will be stored locally, allowing you to access it offline and will be available in various versions, including CoPilot Premium, including all the above features alongside ActiveTraffic services for 12 months, or you can choose CoPilot GPS for offline planning, or even CoPilot Truck.

Pricing for which is yet to be announced, however theey did say it will be in line with apps on both Android and iOS.
