If you are looking for a simple budget mouse that works for both left-handed and right-handed users then the new Corsair Katar might be a great option for you, unveiled earlier this week it brings those ambidextrous features to the average user.

Corsair say that the Katar is a “simple and deadly choice for gamers”, but still great for the serious gamer, Corsair says the mouse is great for the keen gamer too, which is thanks to help they have had from a number of pro-gaming teams around the world.

This resulted in a mouse that is compact and ultra-light, weighing just 85 grams, with features that includes four programmable buttons, a 8,000 DPI sensor with on-the-fly DPI tuning, 1,000Hz polling and a pro-player mode which configures the mouse the same way as what pro gamers prefer.

“Pro Player Mode allows gamers to take advantage of pre-configured performance and tuning settings used by the world’s top players, giving them the professional edge without years of practice,” Corsair explains. “For those who want to play their own way, four fully programmable buttons allow you to take control with extensive customization options, for anything from a simple re-map, to applying complex multi-stage macros.”

The Corsair will be priced at just £40 and is available now. You can find out more about it at the source link below.
