This week Creative unveiled their new audiophile-grade gaming sound card called the Creative BlasterX AE-5.

The card is particularly interesting because it is quipped with a 122 dB 32-bit / 384 kHz ESS Sabre DAC.

It also come with a custom-designed 600? discrete headphone amp, Creative’s proprietary Sound Blaster audio enhancement technologies and various other audiophile-grade components.

There will be two versions available, one is the black version and the other is a pecial-edition white card that will only be available online.

The normal version will come with a 30cm LED strip that has 10 LEDs and the special-edition version comes with 4 x LED strips.

The normal version will be available in the US for $150 and the special edition version will be available for $180.
