Creative has today announced the launch of the new ZxR wireless gaming headset, with a built-in Sound Blaster chip and a built-in sound cards for great sound quality, which of course means a hefty price tag too, the Evo ZxR will be priced at £249, or the Evo Zx at £199.

Also included is some new technology called a Crystalliser, which apparently reverse engineers low quality audio sources to a 24 bit clarity, as well as noise cancellation technology using the built-in microphone, which sound result in just your voice being picked up and not the background audio.

The speaker receives audio via Bluetooth, audio which is played through the 7.1 surround sound speakers with FullSpectrum™ 50mm audio drivers that are capable of reproducing the full audible range of the audio spectrum.

All of these functions and processing can even be controlled with the new Sound Blaster Central smartphone application, which allows you to tweak the voice and audio playback.

Alongside this there is a new mode that can be accessed by flicking the switch on the side to activate something called, TalkThrough, allowing you to keep on chatting without taking off the handset.

The integrated dual beamforming microphones will work in conjunction with CrystalVoice technologies, so you are always heard clearly.

You can find out more about this headset and all the other gaming headsets from Creative on their website.
