First unveiled at CES at the beginning of this year the D-Link DGL-5500 gaming router finally has a release date, announced to be hitting the shelves on August 1st, the router has been designed specifically with gamers in mind.

Sporting 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports as well as WiFi 802.11ac a/b/g/n connectivity, D-Link say the router can offer data transfer speeds of up to 1,300Mbps.

And with technology to filter bandwidth traffic, D-Link say that the router will be able to prioritize your connections, to make sure your games lag no more.
