This week D-Link announced the launch of a new 180-degree panoramic camera in the UK.

Called the D-Link DCS-2530L, it is a panoramic camera that is capable of recording Full HD 1080p videos, with 16ft night vision capabilities and a range of other features.

To do this, it uses a wide-angle 180-degree fisheye lens that uses D-Link’s de-wrapping technology to minimise distortion.

The camera can be controlled via the My D-Link application from anywhere in the world, it connects to your home’s Wi-Fi, allowing you to set up the camera with easy controls, as well as view live video, move the camera and check recordings from an iOS or Android device.

Paul Routledge, the D-Link UK and Ireland Country Manager said the following about the camera:

“Consumers are looking for more ways to secure their homes than ever before.”

“Our latest panoramic camera is easy to use, simple to install, and comes free of expensive installation costs and subscription fees, providing an alternative form of security to costly alarm or camera systems. There is no need for two cameras as the 180 degree technology allows you to effectively monitor a room with a single camera, reducing costs further.”

You can pre-order the D-Link DCS-2530L today for £160 from the source link below.
