This week the computer manufacturer Dell announced the release of some new gaming laptops that are ready for virtual reality gameplay.

These are the new Alienware 13 notebook that are now available to purchase with prices starting at $1,200. These new laptops can be equipped with up to a quad-core Intel Skylake-H processor, with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card, and a 76Wh battery inside.

The entry-level version comes with a 1,366 x 768 pixel TN display, with an Intel Core i5-6300HQ processor, 8GB of RAM and 180GB storage.

This can be upgraded up to a 1440p OLED display, with up to an Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor, up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to 2TB of solid state storage (SSD) that has been split over two drives.

These models will start at $1,799.
