Dell has this week updated their notebook offering, allowing users to pick up the XPS 13 or its Pecision notebooks with Ubuntu 14.04 pre-installed.

This isn’t the first time that Dell has done this, but for those who prefer to use Linux it should be exciting.

All three of the Linux XPS 13 machines will feature Intel Core i7 processors, with a 13-inch InfinityEdge touch screen, but further specs will change depending on how much you pay.

For $1,549.99 you get 8GB of RAM with a 256GB SSD, for $1,949.99 you get 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD. Lastly, there is the $2,349.99 model, which has 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

If the XPS 13 isn’t your thing, then you might prefer the Precision 5510, 3510 or 7710 notebook with Ubuntu 14.04, these all feature Intel Xeon processors, AMD or NVIDIA GPUs, up to 64GB of RAM, and up to a 4K display.

You can find out more about both notebooks at the source link.
