Dell has this week revived the Venue brand, announcing the new Dell Venue 8 Pro and Dell Venue 11 Pro tablets at their New York press event, both of which feature high-end specs and run on Windows 8.1.

The Venue 8 features a HD IPS display with Intel’s Atom Bay Trail quad-core processor, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera and a front facing camera, all in a body that’s 8.9 inches thick.

There’s also HSPA+ and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The Dell Venue 11 Pro will feature a 10.8 inch IPS display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and can be purchased with either an Intel Atom Bay Trail processor or Intel’s fourth generation Haswell Core i5 chip.

The 11 Pro can also be speced out with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of in-built storage, there’s also the option to add an SD card reader.

The battery is also user-replaceable and the tablet includes support for wireless display, HDMI output and there’s an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera as well as a second front-facing camera.

The Dell Venue 8 Pro will be available from November 19th and the Dell Venue 11 Pro will be available from November 7th, the 8 Pro’s price is yet to be confirmed but we do know the 11 Pro will start  at £349.
