Dell announced the release of the newly updated XPS 13 laptop today, bringing it closer to the MacBook Air.

The laptop was already pretty close, with a borderless display, a full HD or quad HD display and an extremely slim design that was made with machined aluminium.

Alongside that, the XPS 13 comes with Windows 10 pre-installed, an Intel 7th Gen i5 or 7th Gen i7 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD.

It also features a Gorilla Glass display and some carbon fibre elements.

Dell also claims that the 2016 version comes with a 22-hour battery life for the i5 model, and a 13-hour battery life for i7.

Today, they extended that with the release of a new Rose Gold version of the Dell XPS 13,

All of this will be available from October 4th for $799 in the US.
