Telltale Games has today provided some more details on Tales From The Borderlands, a new Telltale styled story which will feature themes from the Borderlands universe.

With new details given during a panel at SXSW, we now know that the game will be told from the perspective of two people, Rhys and Fiona.

The details came from Telltale’s President Kevin Bruner, who said the following: “You never really play what actually happened, you’re playing this Big Fish version of what happened.”

In the game, the character of Rhys will work for an evil megacorporation called Hyperion, and Fiona is an ex-con artist, with stories told from a future perspective.

More story-driven than action driven, Tales From The Borderlands won’t include any of the shooter-styled moments featured in the original Borderlands, however you can expect some themes from Gearbox’s design creeping in.
