DJI, the company responsible for creating drones like the Phantom has today revealed details for a new drone, this time however its targeted to a slightly different audience.

Called the DJI MG-1, the drone has been made with agricultural businesses in mind, it allows farmers to easily spray their crops remotely.

Featuring a 2.6 gallon tank, it has a total of eight motors and is capable of flying over crops for as long as 12 minutes after a single charge, enough to spray between 7 and 10 acres of land an hour.

The drone also has a dual resistant casing and a cooling system in-built.

It is priced starting at $15,000 and is now available to pre-order. It will roll out to South Korea and a number of other markets around the world soon.
