3D is still yet to take of around the world, with not many shows being broadcast in the format a lot of consumers may feel that 3D isn’t really worth it, which is probably true if I’m honest.

However back in 1993, Doctor Who was actually one of the first to be broadcast in 3D for its 30th anniversary and then for the 2010 series trailer.

And it’s going to be broadcast in 3D yet again, and for its 50th birthday, the series will be shown on the BBC HD channel later this year.
