A new project has hit Kickstarter this week to monitor your premises 24/7, capable of alerting you if a disaster is detected in premises, such as a fire, flood, freezing or carbon monoxide.

This project is being created by someone named Casey Hermansen, and is called the Dome home disaster alert system, and is controlled via a companion smartphone application.

The project is now looked for backing on the Kickstarter website, with the aim of raising, at least, $8,000.
