Dropbox is probably one of my most used services, I store everything from pictures to word documents on it, and it seems that a lot of other people think the same as Dropbox has today announced that they now have 100 million users worldwide, who reportedly store around 1 billion files per day.

The new was announced by Dropbox’s CEO, Dew Houston who spoke during Mobile World Congress 2013, this success is likely to the partnerships Dropbox has formed with various OEMs, offering extra storage to Samsung and HTC users in the past.

Houston says that this isn’t about to end, and “by building Dropbox onto all these core features on the phone,” he wants to go a little further than Dropbox’s competitors with the aim of reaching another 150 million devices linked to Dropbox by the end of this year.
