EA has today expanded it’s console subscription service, EA Access to the PC, launching Origin Access which provides subscribers with a number of benefits, for a monthly subscription of £3.99 ($4.99).

Once subscribed users can gain access to pre-release trials of upcoming EA games, alongside a number of games within The Vault and special discounts just for Origin Access members, with a 10 percent discount on all Origin purchases.

At launch The Vault will have a total of 15 titles to download as part of the subscription, with The Sims 3 Starter Pack, Dragon Age: Inquisition and Battlefield 4 being the current main titles. But EA has said that they will be adding even more titles to this over time.

The main difference between this and EA Access is that it does not have the option of an annual subscription, on top of that, Origin Access will not be limited to just EA published games.

The service will also offer access to third-party titles, with The War of Mine being the first one available at launch.

At the moment the service is only available for Windows PC games, not Mac games.

You can find out more details about the service at the source link below, it is currently available in Canada, Germany, the UK and the US, but more countries will be added soon.
