Last year, EA decided to skip the main E3 event and instead hosted their own independent event just next door to the LA Convention Centre.

This year, the publisher will be doing the same, hosting an EA-exclusive event named ‘EA Play’ at the Hollywood Palladium from June 10th until June 12th.

Of course, EA games will not be exclusive to this Play event, we also expect to see them at Sony’s and Microsoft’s booths among the various PC booths, however, EA will not have their own stall at the main E3 event.

They explained it with the following:

“Whether in person or online, EA PLAY 2017 will connect fans around the world to EA’s biggest new games through live broadcasts, community content, competitions and more.”

“Those that can attend in Hollywood will experience hands-on gameplay, live entertainment and much more.”

If you can’t make it in person, EA will be live streaming the event online, so there’s that.

You can expect to see details about a new FIFA game, some other EA Sports titles, possibly Dragon Age, maybe Star Wars: Battlefront, and of course, Mass Effect: Andromeda.

We will be updating you with the latest as it happens.
