Providing your electricity and gas meter readings can be a bit tricky, especially trying to work out what all of those numbers mean, EDF Energy are trying to make that a little easier with the launch of their new iPhone app.

The app allows you to simply take a photo of your meter and submit it directly to the company, your account will then be updated automatically with a more accurate bill.

From the application, customers can also track their gas and electricity billing history, as well as accessing EDF’s instant rewards scheme, and a few tips and advice on how to save monty.

EDF say this is the first of its kind in the UK and is available for free on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch from the source link below.
