Alongside the announcement that it now has over a million customers signed up to its 4G service, EE has today announced a restructuring to its 4G plans, building one of the cheapest 4G plans in the UK, it will now be offering 500MB of data, unlimited texts and 1,000 minutes for £18.99 a month on a 24-month contract, however with a device this price could rise up to £44.99 a month if you don’t wish to pay an up-front cost.

There’s also a brand new plan called 4GEE Extra, lasting 24 months, the new plan will grant users up to 60Mbps data from £26.99, of course this will be capped to 4GB usage, but will also include unlimited texts and minutes in the plan, as well as inclusive roaming for calls and texts in the EU, US or Australia.

EE have also launched new mobile broadband plans, one for £36 a month with 20GB of data and the other for £50 a month for 50GB of data.

Users of the home broadband bundles will also get their allowance increased by 10GB. and for those on a plan priced at £47 or more they will increase that to 20GB a month.
