Since they launched in October last year, EE have today announced that they have added 318,000 new UK residents to their 4G service, a network which currently holds 36% of the 4G spectrum in the UK, which now includes two times 5MHz of the 800MHz spectrum and two times 35MHz of the 2.6GHz spectrum, parts of the spectrum that were up for grabs during Ofcom’s LTE auction, and added with the spectrum they already held, EE are now the majority holder.

In it’s 2013 financial report the carrier also announced that over 1,600 business customers currently use the service including the RAC, Reed and PA News.

EE will also be soon expanding it’s services over the rest of 2013, doubling users speeds and making sure to add more coverage across the country.
