The UK-based carrier EE has today announced that it will begin offering 4G roaming in a couple of new European countries, allowing UK customers to access their 4G service whilst in Spain or France, however they will charge you a little extra for being outside of the UK’s borders.

Thankfully those prices are actually quite competitive, pricing their 100GB 4G roaming data package at just £3, which is extremely less than what would be offered to you from other competitors, even those offering 3G roaming.

EE says that they will be offering the service in other European countries soon, and even plan to expand 4G roaming to the USA, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands by the summer.

This is certainly a step up for EE but does it make them stand out any further from the crowd, or is it too little too late?
