[Update Sept 1st] It seems as though existing customers can only take advantage of this offer if they are upgrading their plan.

[Original Story Aug 29] This week EE announced that they will be offering their customers a pretty cool deal.

This is the announcement that they will be offering a free six-month subscription to Apple’s Music streaming service, this is especially cool given that the Apple Music Festival now requires an Apple Music subscription.

This deal will be available to any new or existing EE customers and on both iOS and Android. You do have to be subscribed to one of EE’s pay monthly plans.

EE explained more with the following:

EE today announced an exclusive offer that includes six months of Apple Music membership for new and upgrading EE pay monthly customers.

This marks the first time that a UK operator has offered Apple Music to its customer base. This offer will be available to new and upgrading EE customers taking a pay monthly iOS or Android handset plan or SIM only plan from 1 September. Once registered, customers will be able to use their six-month Apple Music offer on their EE mobile, as well as on iPad, Apple TV, Mac and PC.
