[Update] After making The Elder Scrolls Online game free-to-play on PC and PlayStation 4 last week, ZeniMax Online Studios today announced that the game will also be free-to-play version for the game on Xbox One this weekend.

Xbox Live Gold members will be able to play The Elder Scrolls Online free starting November 23rd until November 27th.

You will then be able to play the game in full after if you purchase the game.

[Original Story] The Elder Scrolls Online game is probably one that you haven’t tried for one big reason, it requires a subscription.

However, to try to provide an opportunity ZeniMax Online Studios announced that The Elder Scrolls Online will be getting a free-to-play this weekend, which kicks off today and will last until November 20th at 11:59 PM Eastern in North America.

As part of the release, all versions of the game will also be available at a discounted price, just in case you want to purchase it after the weekend.

It will be available on the PlayStation 4, PC, and on the Mac.
