At MWC 2017 this week Energizer unveiled a pretty cool smartphone called the Energy E550LTE, which is a new smartphone that features a massive 4,000mAh battery that should be good enough to last for a long time.

Alongside that, the phone also comes with an IP68 rating that means that it is both dust-resistant and water-resistant to a depth of under five feet for up to 30 minutes, which comes alongside a set of rubberised corners that should allow it to withstand drops.

On the front of the device, there is a 5.5-inch 1,920 x 1,080-pixel resolution display alongside an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

On the back, there’s a dual camera solution that consists of a 13MP and an 8MP sensor and comes alongside a LED flash module. There’s also a fingerprint sensor that sits below these two cameras.

Inside you will also MediaTek’s 2GHz octa-core MTK6755 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There’s also a microSD card slot for expanding that storage.

Of course, the 4,000mAh battery is probably the main feature.

The Energizer Energy E550LTE will be available for 449 Euros when it launches sometime this summer.
