Probably one of the biggest blocks to getting into virtual reality is the sheer cost of it.
Currently, the only headsets available are going to set you back anywhere between a few hundred to a few thousand pounds/dollars, and that’s not including the price of the PC that you are going to have to pick up.
Well, that’s up to today, as today a new stand-alone all-in-one headset has been unveiled this week for just $80.
It’s called the Eny EVR01.
In terms of features, it comes with a 5-inch display that has a 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Rockchip RK3126 processor, with Mali-400MP2 graphics and 1GB of RAM.
You also get the choice between either 8GB or 16GB of internal storage, with the ability to expand upon it with a microSD card.
It is also said that the headset can last up to 3 hours from a single charge.
No information on the worldwide availability for the Eny EVR01 has been revealed yet.
