Evernote 5 has today launched for Android, bring some of the features that were launched on iOS a short time ago, the update brings a brand new UI, with a new set of icons and various other visual tweaks, there’s also a new dedicated camera page, which gives tips on how to get the best results when snapping photos of notes such as boosting the contrast or removing shadows.

Android is also the first to get the shortcuts that debuted on OS X back in November and can be accessed by swiping to the left, there’s also a new feature for premium members that shows the contents of uploaded documents for search.
