Evernote have today announced new security features, including new features such as two-factor authentication, allowing you to secure you account with a second verification code whenever you log into Evernote Web, or install a new device.

Basically you try to log in and then you will have to type in a verification code to access your account, which can be delivered by text message or by using an app such as Google Authenticator.

This feature is completely optional however, and needs to be set up through your account settings and is available to all Evernote Premium and Business customers.
