Evernote is a great application for taking notes both on the go or at the desktop, but what happens when you want to save some written text, like an essay or some lecture notes? Well that’s where Evernote’s new partnership with Moleskine comes in, as soon both company’s will be teaming up to release a limited edition Evernote Smart Notebook that has been designed specifically for the new Evernote iOS application.

This notebook will basically allow you to take all of your written notes from the notebook and store them electronically via the Evernote iOS app, this has been done with the specially designed dotted paper patterns on the pages within the notebook that allow the app to see what you have written.

This can be done with the app that was updated today, via the new Page Camera function which will allow you to store whole documents within your Evernote account, and can then be transferred to electronic text via Evernote’s handwriting recognition.

The Moleskine notebooks will be available in two different sizes in ruled or squared, pocket which will cost $24.95 and large costing $29.95 and will release from October 1st, there’s no word on UK availability just yet, but you can pre-order your’s via the source link below.
