Eye-Fi has today revealed their next Wi-Fi SD card, called the Eye-Fi Mobi it has been designed specifically to work with both phones and tablets, allowing you to transmit photos and videos directly from your camera to your smartphone or tablet using its own direct connection.

The idea of which is to allow people to take better quality images for your social media sites and emails, without losing the connectivity and ease of sharing with a smartphone.

To use the card, all you have to do is put the SD card into your camera, download the app on your iOS or Android device and then pair the two, after which you can quickly send images and videos instantly from a number of compatible cameras.

The Eye-Fi Mobi will cost £42 for the 8GB card, £52 for the 16GB card and £72 for the 32GB.
